MLB／Pujols建功 遊騎兵還沒封王

天使隊 Albert Pujols在9局上敲出適時安打，送回致勝的第2分，終場天使2比1擊敗遊騎兵，破了遊騎兵想在今天主場封王的美夢，在美國聯盟西區封王魔術數字仍是「1」。
此戰天使隊先發投手Jerad Weaver以及遊騎兵先發投手Martin Perez都投的很精采，Weaver先發6局只被打出2支安打，包括秋信守4局下轟出的陽春砲（本季第22轟），失1分，Perez則是先發7局被擊出4支安打，僅在1局上被Erick Aybar、Albert Pujols、C.J.Cron連敲安打失1分。
兩隊先發投手都表現稱職，最後交由牛棚投手決勝負，遊騎兵隊9局上救援投手 Shawn Tolleson登板，天使隊Mike Trout一上場就擊出三壘打，接著Pujols再敲安打，打回重要的第2分，拖住了遊騎兵隊要登上美聯西區王座的步伐。
遊騎兵隊目前戰績87勝73敗，雖已經確保可以晉級季後賽，但還沒拿到分區冠軍，當然，稍後如果太空人隊輸球，遊騎兵隊也可以封王，不過太空人對響尾蛇之戰，打到6局上，太空人10比2領先。而天使隊戰績84勝76敗，要用外卡資格拚進季後賽，還沒絕望。
